Bama fans and Falcons Fans
The only Bama fans I associate with are Saints fans.

I started to become aware of football in the late 80s. My uncle gave me a copy of the 1989 media guide. I would read about each season one at a time, and I kept seeing WWWWWW L to Alabama WWWWLWWWW L to Alabama, etc. It didn't even seem to matter how good they were.
Then they became one of the best teams in the country over the following several seasons.
I didn't just jump from that to Alabama hatred, but I remember the 1989 season and later learning what happened to Bill Curry and wondering what on Earth was wrong with these people. Most people would have been euphoric to have gone 10-2 and they wanted the coach's head. As in, he wasn't physically safe in the state.
Then they became one of the best teams in the early '90s. It was awesome when we beat them in 1993, but it didn't make up for 1989 to 1994 for us vs. what it was for them.
Then even when we had the better team, we just couldn't beat them in Baton Rouge. So all of this evolved into them being the #1 team I wanted us to beat. Everything that's happened since January 2007 or whenever Saban was hired there has just increased these feelings.
I also ended up having people I knew from high school go there and going to college with people who were from there and were Bama fans. (I went to a southern college without a football team.)

Upon approaching a small group of concrete steps along the path, I suddenly noticed as I was airborn and looking at a face plant into the concrete. I get up with blood in my eyes to see 2 "bama fans" yell "rawl tyde"....
