Because Kirby Smart has won 2 titles, realistically could have 4, and has won 43 of his last 45 games. Kelly has 3 losses each of his 2 seasons and headed for that at best again with no real signs of "elite" being in the conversation when talking about us. When expectations are greater than reality, disappointment generally follows.

He had lots of big losses prior to his first NC…he was given time to build it from the ground up.
The only truly terrible thing Kelly has done so far was the Matt House hire….i will admit that is tough to get over
