Why Todd walker travels with his card?

Did anyone hear him explain in game 1 Florida Arkansas why he carries his own baseball cards around with him? I heard him start to explain but my phone lost reception

I wasn’t listening to Walker, but I’ve heard a bunch of old ball players explain they would rather give a kid a card (possibly pre-signed), instead of stopping and doing an autograph.

Lol just joking man. No I didn't catch the game. I'd like to know too but generally speaking Todd Walker is a tremendous guy and ambassador for LSU

He said he had signed a baseball card for a guy and the guy handed them all to him as a thanks. He said he didn’t know they were all his cards at first.

It was explained:
Fans always come to him for autographs of multiple cards.
Some fans give him a whole panapoly of his cards, as a gesture of gratitude.
It happens that one fan gave him several, and the other broadcaster was just ragging him for "..carrying his own cards.." I think Walker chuckled unamused.............

I was at a coin/card show a while back. I was one of the few card shoppers. Bought a few cards of guys with local ties and chatted with one vendor for a while.
As we walked out, he called my wife over and handed her a Todd Walker card. He said she could have it. “It’s not worth anything.”
Hell, we were proud to have it. Put it with our signed ball that was bought at a silent auction when someone had been drinking.

Todd Walker may or may not be a complete narcissist
considering how much he talks about himself and his playing days during broadcasts and now finding out he travels with a bunch of his own baseball cards
