I get the criticism of Daniels given the results Saturday, but Nuss isn’t coachable? How the frick would you know that?

Thank you. I was gonna ask this.

If anyone doesn't seem coachable, it's JD. He's getting worse, not better.

As for Nuss, he looked like an over-eager freshman v. SU. Since then, he's been under control with one bad play at Auburn. 9/10 against New Mexico and 5 of his 6 throws against Auburn we're right on the money.

Where people come up with this crap is mind-boggling.

Also, this is not a championship season. You're playing to be better than last year. This team is going to lose some games. What could you possibly gain by playing Howard?

Increased odds of an injury, if you play him before he's ready, you could actually do damage to his progression. Lose/lose situation. Play him some in runaway games if you have any, but there's no reason to throw him out there for the next few weeks unless we're in victory formation.

How do you know LSU can’t win with Walker Howard?

That’s the question.

And all the answers are his dad doesn’t want him to play or this season is a throwaway despite LSU being in first place in the SEC West.

If Walker works out, he still won’t be at LSU more than 2 years (unless Jamie made a deal with the team that he would stay for 3 if they keep his RS). But why would he do that?

We aren't winning a title this season. Not the natty, not the SEC. Outside shot at SEC West is the best I can give you. We don't have the roster for it. We just don't. Not full on schollys, We have talent, sure. What we don't have is depth.

So, LSU is capitulating this season.

For what purpose?

No, they're not. They're still playing to win every game, but they're going to do it with Daniels at QB because he has the experience.

Then should the team forfeit the rest of the season?

Your cowardly conclusion is the error that pervades this fan base and this forum.

You're a simp.

No, should every team quit when they get 2 losses or are eliminated from bowl contention?

There is still a reason to play. Everybody on that field gets valuable experience.

It's not a cowardly conclusion, it's being realistic.

Then you forfeit because you’re too weak to handle questions about the direction of the LSU offense.

Conceding games is cowardly, period.

Then let’s see you publicly predict this LSU team is going to beat Alabama. And post it on the SEC rant too.

I have to believe he would be playing if he was the best option, he must not be ready.

Unless he's a turnover machine, he would have to be pretty bad not to be able to throw for more than 80 yards. If we lose 4 of the next 5, all with Daniels continuing to look inept throwing the ball, and Kelly not at least trying something different, it's gonna get ugly.

If Tennessee, Florida, Ole Miss, and Arky are able to shut down Daniels' ability to run, then what good is he?

Nobody is conceding games. There isn't one on our schedule that I don't think we can win, but I do know that we aren't going to win them all. Even the greatest team assembled in 2019 had two close calls.

And if Kelly burns his redshirt it all goes to shite and Walker hits the portal? Then you get less than one.

Anyone keeping up with this situation knows what’s going on. Kelly agreed to whatever the Howard family’s terms were for him to sign. All signs point to that being him redshirting this year.

If he just stays two years, that means he’s a star getting drafted early and we’re on the way back up. I’ll take that deal in a heartbeat.

Why would Walker playing mean that Walker transfers if Walker is better than the current 2 QB’s?

That’s stupid.

If Walker takes the job for the rest of the season then the redshirt doesn’t matter.

I accept the reality that is in front of me, which is something you are obviously incapable of doing. Walker isn’t going to play in more than 3 more games, probably just 1, the season will go on, and the world will keep turning. It is what it is.

Walker will play the rest of the season if this coaching staff is worth its money and the redshirt doesn’t matter.

This isn’t 1970’s football friend.
