And here we go......
AGAIN............
I still find it hilarious that you deemed it ok to shite on miles for a decade but stating facts about Orgeron somehow makes you upset. Miles had actually accomplished something at lsu. Ed orgeron hasnt.

Miles turned A top 5 program into A top 15 program.... There IS a reason he got fired....
Coach O HAS done something here... He led the team to A great finish with A Team that Miles could do nothing with... FACT................

His "great finish" produced a winning percentage similar to the one that got Miles fired.
And it's obvious he was referring to everything else on his resume prior to that.

I agree. Miles had one great season. Even the first national championship we lost to 4-7 Arkansas and a decent UK team. We had numerous close calls. He wasted 2005-2006. After 2007, he hired Malveto, which was a disaster. He never developed a QB. 2011 was his best team, but we had glaring deficiencies on offense. From that point forward, we were pretty average. But he'd win just enough.
Orgeron lost one game in a flukish manner and one game to a team that was better than us. He blew everyone else out. He'd address issues we had as a team and not dance around it.
I agree that wanting a job shouldn't mean you're qualified, but he is a great fit. He cost 3.5 million and I think his chance of success is just as high as Fedora, Gundy, etc.

Saban's tenure= 16 losses 12 conf losses
Miles.last 5 years =15 losses 12 conf losses
Youve repeatedly said wins and losses is all that matters so please explain how less losses means we are a worse program.

Holy shite. He has as many top 5 finishes as saban, mac and Dietzel combined.
Miles has the best win % in lsu history but he had 1 great season? Lol

Arkansas wasn't great but they sure as hell weren't 4-7 either.
No one here is saying firing Miles was a mistake. Everyone is saying that Alleva botched the whole thing from the first time he attempted to do it all the way through the hiring process to replace him.

Its amazing how youre fine with O losing to a 14 point underdog at home while they were missing tons of defensive starters. The same kind of loss youd blast miles over.

The Miles-hater crowd is one of the lowest IQ bunch I've ever witnessed (this doesn't include those who thought it was time for a change but recognize Miles' accomplishments as a Tiger).
They hate him because he's from Michigan. They hate him because he did what anybody would do when Arkansas went after him. They hate him because the last five or six years of his LSU tenure he preferred a power run game to a spread offense that 110 of the 128 teams run some variation of.
That power run offense is going to become very effective in a year or two when Alabama revamps its defense to beat teams like Clemson and Ole Miss instead of being vulnerable to those types of teams because their defense was built specifically to beat LSU.
People don't recognize how big a compliment it is that the best coach in college football history viewed Les as his biggest threat to prevent him from winning a championship and built his team specifically to win games against Les Miles.
I guarantee you, Saban is happy Miles is no longer in his division because now he can reconfigure his defense without having to worry about LSU beating them with a power run game.

Exactly. He was justly fired but to say miles turned lsu from a top 5 program( we werent a top 5 program when saban left, we had 1 top 5 finish almost 2 decades) into a top 15 program after miles tenure was the most successful tenure in lsu history. Even the last 5 years everyone loves to shite on had a better win loss record than Saban's tenure. I was in favor of letting miles go after 2015 but not to hire the coach with the worst tenure in ole miss history.

Spot on.
You have to be a special kind of dumb to say Miles had 1 good season at lsu. He was justly fired but to not gove him credit for the heights we reached is just wrong.

Exactly. Ive seen posters actually say that they would rather have a good passing game and lose a close hard fought game than to grind out an ugly win. Ive never seen a fan base more willing to shite on its own accomplishments just because they dont agree with the style of offense a coach runs.

Miles and LSU against Ole Miss in 2013 was awful to watch.. BUT Miles was just two years from having one of the best teams in the country... ZERO excuse for that... Now if you want to compare those games we can....
I didn't think so......

What? Wins and losses are what determines how good of a program you are.

If he had kept up his tradition of losing at least 3 games 4 out of 5 years he wouldve been fired.
