Why is Stingley in a gold jersey?

Just noticed in the team picture that Coach O posted Stingley is the only one in a gold jersey besides the QBs and I think Goodwin, which is rumored to be out this weekend. Is his injury more severe than being let out?
Also looks like Koy more back there in a Gold jersey which has been rumored to miss game 1 also…

Believe it’s Stingley’s 1st practice back. Might as well play it safe this week as well. IIRC, O said Koy has also been in and out of practice. Team has lots of talent and chance to great, but banged up or thin in key areas.

That’s typical for guys who are starting to practice again after coming back from an injury. It’s just so they don’t rush him out there causing him to get injured even more.

Under Coach O they have always been extremely cautious about injuries and don’t take any chances especially on the veterans they know can play at this level.
