Because unlike other SEC schools we have no instate rival anymore...it use to be Tulane but that has bitten the dust....

but why are we so worried about them

Well, maybe because we haven't beaten them since Nov 2011.

All these threads about them, and every thread I read turns into a Bama thread.

Because we play them every year and they are where we want to be, should be, will be. In business they tell you find someone who is successful and do what they do. Use them as the standard of the success you'd like to have. Well, bama is that standard. Prior to 2009 you don't think those bama people felt this same way about us. Of course they did. They wanted to be where LSU was.

This is not a new thing for this board, I am talking this has gone on for years.

I'd say about 2015 is when if got bad. It was then that it became apparent Les would NEVER EVER beat Nick again. It was about then (probably a year or 2 before actually) that we started to realize just how far we were from being the elite program we once were. So yea, we want LSU to be elite like bama. We want LSU to win NC's like bama has. They set the standard that we want to copy and surpass. I say, 3 NC's in 4 years, screw that, I want 4 in 4 years!!! And beat bama for the next 10 years!!! Well, not just them but everybody else also.
