Obviously. and on 2 of our first 4 drives, we had over 5 plays on the drive. The other two were three and outs. that's pretty good production for an offense. Not "OMIGOD!" awesome, but certainly good. And then came the big play 2nd quarter.

After that, the game plan became, admittedly, too conservative. But complaining about sustained drives from a first half which produced 30 points is like digging for something to complain about.

The second half is a different story. The team went way too conservative, going run-run-pass on seemingly every possession. It was like asking to fail. I also think Ridley could have done a better job in the second half. We were trying to run out the clock and he couldn't get the yards.

When you haven't consistently had sustained drives in two years i don't see it as looking for something to complain about, i see it as pointing out a potential problem. Agree to disagree, we arent gonna change each others mind and ill talk to you on the movie board instead

I mean, let's choose a game at random... Georgia kicked the crap out of ULL, so let's use that.

6- 24 Punt
11- 75 TD
5- 28 TD
4- 6 FG
3- -5 Punt
4 - 52 TD
3 - 1 INT
6 - 61 Half

Against a decidedly weaker team, four of eight drives were less than 5 plays. Three drives topped 30 yards, one of which was essentially a big play and another was ended by the half.

Sure, it's better, but it's not world's better and the gap in quality of opponent makes up for it. And, remember, these are drives from an absolutely one sided blowout.

ETA: I was typing this when you were posting your so... I owe you a Coke.
