Either way we will never know if Ack would have gotten 3 outs in the 9th. It is easy to look back after the fact and say you think he should have stayed with Ack but Ack hasn't been as good as we thought he could be this year. He did look good in the 8th but how long would have have been the case?
I can understood either decision. Bottom line is you make your decision and go with it.
It is baseball and sometimes it doesn't workout.

You're right, Ack could have totally imploded and lost the game, or he could have struck out the side again. We will never know. We do know what the other option got us though. It's unfortunate, but is what it is. I'll be back next year. I'm sure Jay will make more decisions that I question, some of them will work and some won't. I'll continue to cheer for them and hope that next season ends better than this season.
