Not even Johnny Football himself would be Johnny Football at LSU under Miles.

You can call me a hater if you want, but 2004-2012 actually happened.

Ease up guys - all the OP was saying was that we never seem to have a totally dominant player on offense. It's not bad that we don't, as long as our offense is balanced and we can move the ball. But the OP is raising a legitimate issue: does our offensive philopshy and offensive recruiting in recent years hasn't yielded an over-the-top dominant player at an offensive skill position.

Russell Shepard was billed as being that kind of player when he stepped on campus. So I don't think it is necessarily recruiting.

Honestly, I think it is more of an offensive philosophy issue. Miles knows that relying on one player is very risky. If that player goes down you may have to change everything to be successful.

This! As LSU fans, you know we would love to see that kind of player at LSU. You know it!!

We don't need our own JFF. We did quite well without one against the lone JFF

Seriously idlewatcher, you can't be satisfied with losing the chick-fil-a while that kid wins the Heisman and beats Oklahoma. Apathy like this won't help us.
