Hey Weis guy, Weis has four Super Bowl rings and coached under Parcells as head coach and Belichick as assistant head coach.
Weis impacted the Irish program off the field as well, with his football players combining to top the 3.0 grade-point average mark in a record six straight semesters. His players achieved a then-program-record 3.044 combined grade-point average.
Weis led Notre Dame to record-setting seasons- one by topping the 500-yard mark in total offense seven times in '05, including a 663-yard performance.
Weis turned Quinn, into a star in `05 and '06 under his tutelage, as he set 36 career, single-season, single-game and miscellaneous records.
Weis was the architect in '05 and '06 of the two most prolific passing seasons in Notre Dame football history. The Irish offense into one of the most productive in the country, as Notre Dame scored more points in `05 (440) than in any previous season in school history.

I think its without debate that Weis is a top notch OC. A great hire for Florida IMO.
LSU's new guy, I really dont know that much about him but he carries a good rep.

Just in case you don't remember there were people that didn't like saban when he was here because he sat on leads and lost to UAB....
Some people will bash people just for the hell of it.
Remember that nobody on this board had to pass an iq test to gain the ability to post.

Sorry, I didn't see that he asked for just the good stats. I thought he wanted the entire picture which, of course, is taboo here.

Not only that, but showing how ignorant they are in the process.

He had Brady Quinn, and running up and down the feild isn't the formula for winning games..

here are Weis' stats at Notre Dame with national rank in ()
2005: 489.3 ypg(11), 36.7 ppg(8)
2006: 406.4 ypg(20), 31 ppg(17)
2007: 278.7 ypg(120), 16.4 ppg(117)
2008: 355.1 ypg(65), 24.7 ppg(67)
2009: 451.8 ypg(8), 30.1 ppg(32)
what does that say? he had 2 very good years in 2005 and 2006 with a good, experienced QB in Brady Quinn. He had a disaster of a year in 2007 with 3 different QB's who started a game, including a freshman Jimmy Clausen. The other were household names Evan Sharpley, Demetrius Jones. Then, with Clausen the man in 2008, there was a huge improvement. And 2009 the offense was very good again.

According to this article SK took over calling the plays at Louisville in 2009 which I think was a horrible offensive year for them. The article also says that the last time before 2009 he was the main play caller was at A&M. Also SK was out of football this past year.
ESPN article
Given that Weis has called plays for 3 Super Bowl winning teams, for several successful offenses at ND, and this past year at KC which had a big improvement over the prior year I can see where there would be more concern about hiring SK as offensive coordinator than Weis.

bullshite back at ya.
Many on here would find something to bitch about with Weis at LSU, it's their MO.
How about his O failed every time it met a decent defense with a pulse? Or 9-3, 10- 3, 3-9, 7-6, 6-6 after landing top ten classes, including a #2?
Maybe he won on players schooled by TW and once his system was installed fully, it flunked.
You can't say there's nothing negative could be said about his FBS stint, this is the Rant.

Charlie Weiss has a FUPA. No man with a FUPA can be trusted or respected. He's a cocky piece of shite as well.
