I don't hate him. I dislike the fact that LSU would reinstate someone who kicked a defenseless person in the head, and the appearance that gives the university. It has nothing to do with football, it is only about what is right, regardless of someone's social or celebrity status.

The GJ is the modern form of judge dread. Fact.

I don't hate him. I've never hated him. I've backed him ever since he walked on the field in '08.

However, with this mess that we've all had to read about, the kid messed up. I don't know if he did what he's accused of. I don't know if he didn't do it.

It was reduced so we can only go from there.

I think what's going on with some people are they are combining what went down at Shady's to their dislike of him as a football player. It's two completely different things.

He's now been reinstated and is back on the team. Good for him. I'm sure it's a weight off of him and his teammates are glad to have him back.

This is what I was talking about with some people's dislike of him as a football player come in..... He's reinstated! He's going to start!

He will not start this season barring injury to Lee. I have no doubt of this. I will bet everything I know on it.

Everything I said was true and correct, I don't understand why that would upset you and cause you to act that way.

I don't hate him.

I just simply don't like him for one reason:

He has never improved as a QB at LSU.

Damn, I was typing too fast. I rarely make those kind of mistakes. Sort of like TulaneLSU, know what I mean?

Anyway, I'm about willing to bet you that Jefferson ends up with the charges being dropped completely or being acquitted. Watch.

Alright, as long as an indictment isn't why you are saying it is fact, fine.

Most fanbases would love anybody that they think will lead them to the promised land. This fanbase feels like it is JL that will do it and are very worried that bringing JJ back into the mix will mess with the chemistry.

It is the crutch that the JJ fan club uses if you criticize JJ. He has been a bad qb and it is very difficult to defend his performances.

So if you criticize his play they resort to their only weapon accusing you of hating JJ. Big difference in not wanting to see him on the field and hating him

I'll ask in a different way. Are you privy to any reliable evidence other than what you've read in the media or heard via hearsay?

Based on the outcome of this GJ, I suspect you are right, or he gets pre-trial intervention and as long as he is good for 6 months it is gone and expunged.

What upsets me more than anything is that I understand what this outcome really means, and as I told NOSA, if I see you I can explain more than I can on here

Big difference in not wanting him to see the field and stating they just want him to go away, even if it means he is convicted without trial. A large number have either directly said this or alluded to it. That is hate on a personal level.

No, he wasn't.

The DA presented to the GJ a felony charge and the GJ returned a misdemeanor charge of simple battery.

Unless you are a member of the GJ, you have no idea why the simple battery charge was returned.

I would doubt that even that charge will ever see light of day in a court.

The majority of fans don't "hate" JJ or have their opinions of him because they are racist. That's always a cop out and weakens any argument. Honestly, ask yourselves which QB has brought negative national attention to LSU and which one has put LSU in a positive light. There's over a hundred QB's that would like to have their team on top but as of now only one can make that claim and he's not there because someone else is hated.
