Why don't you take a look at the entire 2002 redcruiting class, and tell us how many were developed:

What good coach out there is afraid of pressure? Meyer wasn't when he took a job at a school that just fired a 3 loss coach. Bama attracted Saban despite being at least as meltdown prone as we are

Sonnyboy, you know nothing about nickthemidget. Alabama didn't "attract" him. 4 million a year gaurenteed attracted him, nothing else.

We have much better recruiting base

Correction: prior to Hurricane Katrina, we had a much better recruiting base. Those potential recruits are now scattered all over the place. There is a reason why LSU has been going to so much trouble to schedule Texas Tech in Houston and is buying out of the 10-year Tulane contract to play just one pre-season classic in Atlanta.

I rest my case.

Seriously though what does this class have to do with our current predicament?

Aren't we paying 4 million or so a year to our HC. Yes yes we are.

So what you are saying is that we can pay enough money that we can get a guy even if he's not happy with the location.

Good thought so.

The 2010 LA class for recruiting is probably the best in LA history.

Why do LSU fans ALWAYS HATE their own coach?
Since Charlie Mac, LSU fans have always hated and bitched about their coach, and said he was the worst and we can get a better coach.

LSU fans did not say that about Bill Arnsparger, nor did very many say it about Saban. The others were all shite coaches who deserved to be hated by the fan base of whatever school's program they were ruining.

Of course, you can always find a couple of people in any group of millions that will say practically anything, but as for the bulk of LSU fans, Saban and Arnsparger were not hated, but in fact were well liked, at least for their coaching. So was Miles, until he proved himself incompetent.

Why can't Tiger fans shut the F@#%@ up and realize that we have it better than almost all of the other universities in the nation.

Because we are not getting our money's worth. We are top ten in everything except coaching, even though we're paying a top ten coaching salary. Miles is ripping us off, so we're pissed. Get over it and realize that you are now in the minority. His incompetent arse is on the way out, and no amount of your high-horse bitching and whining will protect him.

Yes, Alabama used money to attract him. That's how it works.

Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. I DO NOT want to live through another 10 years of sucking because we do not understand how good we had it. Run him off butthole and see what kind of coach we get.

No, sonnyboy, I am not saying that. You are, sonnyboy. My point was that nickthemidget doesn't give a damn who hires him so long as they pay him his price at the time.

This is an a sweeping generalization and an overstatement. Too emotional. I am just looking at what Miles has done versus our West Rivals the last 2 years 1-5 versus Ark, Ole Miss, and Bama. In my opinion Les is a very good man and an OK coach. I just don't think he can compete versus Saban and Meyer every year. He will also struggle versus the other West teams. I think we should be in the SEC West hunt year in and year out. This is a minimum bar and Les in my opinion is not capable of this now that it is 100% his program. I also believe he will have 4-5 losses next season. We will see.
