I will put it so an idiot can understand. LSU has played 13 games, and PP has TWO interceptions. TWO!!! That is third place on the team. CJ, CH, PP. In no way is that skewed.

I've given you an explanation for the fact that it is skewed twice already, but you're either too stuck on bashing the kid to let it register, or too stupid to comprehend it, so here it is again...PP is a shut down corner, and the best one of this team, so the opponents tend not to throw in his direction. Therefore, he doesn't get the chance to intercept the ball as often as Hawkins or Eugene or the safeties. Nmandi Asomugha is one of the best CBs in the NFL, and he's notorious for having a low INT total for the same reason. He had 8 INTs his first season, then 1 each of the last 3 years...does he all of a sudden suck too?
quote:

The two positions are close enough to compare.

No, they aren't. You can't compare a safety's stats to a CB's because their responsibilities are completely different on each play.
quote:

Why cant you get off of PP cock long enough to see there are other good players on this team that deserve credit.

When did I say no one else on this team isn't good? Why don't you give a 20 year old kid who has played lights out for most of the year a break and quit bashing him because he played one bad game?
quote:

That is pretty fricking original

Sorry, it's my first encounter with your retardedness, but if you're told that so much, maybe it's time to look in the mirror and realize that you're a dumbass. Knowing is half the battle.

Could be he needed a game like that. Competitive people learn from their mistakes. PP possibly needed a little lesson.

Honestly looked like most players on both teams didn't want to be there.

This is dead wrong, no team has opted not to throw his way. Read the quotes from Daryl Clark from PS. He said that their gameplan was to attack PP.

Also, I have not said he is horrible or have I bashed him. I simply said that he has a long ways to go as a true lockdown corner.

Ohh, and dont forget to brush your teeth after you swallow PP load.

So, all of a sudden, the CB who shut down AJ Green and Julio Jones needs to be benched? Everyone has a bad game.

You are talking about LSU fans here.

I'm not replying to you anymore if you're going to say shite like this. PSU didn't shy away from him, but you didn't hear his name called for a month after the UGA game. Must be because he sucks.

I honestly don't get your angle...if you want to bitch about shitty players there are plenty to pick from other than Peterson.

WHY? Because I bring facts? Back up what I post?

I never said he sucks. I stated he is not the lockdown corner MOST LSU fans would like to think.

I have no angle, I replied to a question and gave my answer and my opinion only. Then I backed up my reasons. That is what this board is for. People discussing topics.

It did not take you long to call me ignorant and that is the reason I took it where I did.

I didn't call you ignorant until you posted this towards me.

You said that teams didn't shy away from PP this year when they have. I've yet to see you back that up with facts.

There's no doubt Peterson played poorly against Penn St, but I'm not at all concerned about him being our #1 CB next year.

It was a throwaway game that means nothing in the long run. The field conditions were terrible and dangerous.

Therefore he played safe and din't go full speed for fear of injury.

It's not that hard to imagine. Not like you guys haven't seen it happen before.

The field had 3 freaking inches of mud covering it. Give him a break.

And no one can say that teams have avoided PP.

Look, the whole point to this is the comment I made. That is I feel PP is not the cb that everyone thinks. He has worlds of talent, and thats why everyone is high on him. BUT, he needs alot of coaching up.

This team has much bigger problems than PP. He is actually one of the only bright spots for next year.

That hurts coming from a person of your magnitude. I guess that comes from me making a comment about a player? I guess I am not allowed to do so.
