This is him letting Dale, Collis, and the boys lay in their bed. Jones is gone after the official conclusion of the season. He's giving JJ more than enough rope to hang himself

There it is. Nothing is to be gained from a mid-season firing. Alleva is making sure that no one can claim that JJ wasn't give enough time or that the plug was pulled to early.
This is a total failure. The program is in dire straights. Alleva is just letting it play out.

Because he and the king are morons and will destroy LSU athletics if they're not canned.

These SJW University Presidents are a dime a dozen these days but our Board leadership doesn't have the capability to think outside the box. This is why LSU will always be at the bottom academic wise and unfortunately LSU currently lacks a true Board Member who has the balls and the
smarts to take the lead and go get a Mark Emmert clone. Everyone is happy with the status quo right now and they gave this clown a standing o at a recent meeting. The 20's will see LSU right back in the 80's

He does not know what to do! Alleva could not make a decision wth football & was forced into hiring Coach O - which I think has turned out well & will get better.

He & King are the epitome of high paid officials living the HIGH LIFE!

He's a total insult to LSU.

To actually imagine Alleva having a thought out strategy is a scary proposition.

The real question is why did he give up on this whole program by keeping the worst ever ball coach LSU has had by evidence of last year's fiasco. No one with half a brain could believe this was going to be anything other than a dismal year. He intentionally threw away this season and allowed the program to virtually collapse this year. It will make it very tough to attract a decent proven coach. It really baffles me that he allowed this to happen.

I know this is territory, but if the rumors of Dale and Collis meddling are 100% accurate, maybe he saw this as a means of ridding the program of a cancer that's much bigger than just one or even two seasons.

Not saying that's the case, just playing Devil's advocate and for the sake of argument giving him benefit of the doubt.
