Yeah I was. But he's not. So all this crying and complaining really isn't productive moving forward. Just breeds negativity.

I have no idea why people enjoy the constant complaining about their supposed favorite team. It seems miserable.

Explain this logic for me please.

Supporting the successful coach of my school makes me a shitty fan?

Some people get off on being miserable and contrarian.

Just let them be.

historically successful, yes. But you have agreed that it is time for a change. Now it's just blindly supporting Miles because he wears P&G. This is the same bullshite that folks are reporting why Miles was kept. (one of the reasons).

Fans like you are going to let LSU become Texas.

I'm not miserable. I pay good money for my tickets, and so does 3/4 of my family. I recognize Miles was likely kept for political purposes. Miles has benefited from LSU more than LSU has benefited from Miles, and that's something y'all tend to forget. Do I appreciate what he's accomplished? Of course. Will I root for him to win every damn game next year? Hell yea. But do I think Miles is the coach who is going to get LSU over the hump? No. I realize this is about winning, which is why he is paid millions of dollars. It's a "what have you done for me lately" league, and Miles hasn't done much lately. It is what it is.

I don't agree with this when you look at the revenue. At the end of the day, money and wins are what matters. Miles has provided historic success in both the last 11 years and he has been handsomely rewarded with it.

But make no mistake, lsu has definitely benefitted from their miles investment.

I've defended him for years. You know that. And I'll defend his record, which for the most part had been incredible. But the way that you're a broken record in every single thread lashing out at anyone that speaks ill of Les is equal parts odd and baffling as it is obnoxious and tiresome. Maybe you should take a hiatus from the Internet for a bit. Just a suggestion.

List the ways.

And as far as that asinine comment about Miles not being the guy to get LSU over the hump. What hump? National title? SEC title? Which hump is it that you need him to surpass to accommodate your pansy whiny self?

This is why folks think you're more of a Miles fan than an LSU fan. LSU isn't in the dark ages anymore. Plenty of coaches could draw a crowd and win 1 title in 11 years at LSU.

Beat bama and win the SEC. I think Miles' best years are behind him. I hope I'm wrong.

And list the ways? You serious? Miles was 7-5 his last year at Oklahoma State

What kinda shitty LSU fan thinks LSU is so dependent on Miles that they think this way?

And his record in 2004 is relevant...how?

I am with you - he needs to get the Saban monkey off of his back. And maybe you are right. But when a guy has been here 11 years and his worst year is 8-5 (3-5) you don't fire him at 8-3 (5-3). I know that you probably want a Texas Tech offense but the formula works most of the time. He needs to reverse the trend against the West and beat the teams that he should beat. Bama will always be a toss up but we should be competitive.

that he has benefited from being the coach at LSU. The man has barely been a position coach or a coordinator. The best career move he ever made was CLEARLY coming to LSU. To think LSU has benefited more from having him is asinine.

I don't necessarily want a TT offense. I just want to see LSU have a good offense. One that has good QB play. It's really not asking much for a program as highly regarded as LSU. MSU has it. Ole Miss has it. UF had it in Grier. Hell, Houston has it! Middle Tennessee State even has it at times!

I know Bama is a blueblood program that will always be a toss up. But losing every game since 2011 is just plain bad, and unfair to those who pay to go to these games.

I'll be the first to say I didn't want Miles gone if it didn't mean we didn't get 1 of of maybe 3-4 coaches. Had LSU been able to get Jimbo, then I was the first to jump on the fire Miles bandwagon.

I have since said I think the offense will improve, as Harris will be a junior and we obviously have the best RB in the country. And don't lose much this offseason. This is MIles' year to right the ship, win the west, and give all of us who counted him out the finger. I hope it happens and if it does, I take my crow medium rare.

I see what you are saying regarding the benefits miles has received vs vice versa. I don't necessarily agree - Id say it's been more mutually beneficial than anything. Either way - Miles is a victim of his success in his first 7 years: national title, Sugar bowl victory, 2 SEC titles, 75 or so wins. Another title game appearance. Since then? 2-2 in bowls and no division titles.

Here's to hoping we are all celebrating a better season or better coaching next year at this time.

Reading over your last few posts, I'm with you that we want to see better, cleaner offensive play, but I disagree with the above point. LSU has greatly benefitted from Miles. When Saban was here and having success, we were usually ranked low preseason (not that that means much, but speaks to the national perception of LSU), if we faltered just slightly we plummeted in the polls, and we got no love outside of our own back yard. Miles' consistent success and repeat national title cemented us into the top tier of the nation's football programs. Just look at the polls. LSU consistently ranked higher after Miles took over. That speaks to improved national perception of the program and our ability to recruit at the level we have.

Its not even this per say. It's also that he didn't even bother to show up in another NC game and has had a couple of other teams that, barring piss poor coaching decisions, should have at least competed for titles as well.
