Getting old? It's the truth. Any program in the country would suffer if they had to kick off their All-American #1 Rated QB in waiting. Say what you want, but that had a big affect on the the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

Do you think Ryan Perriloux would know when to call a timeout? Was Perriloux going to be calling his own plays in the hurry up? No excuse for the way Ole Miss and Penn State games ended. Division 1A coaching staff, $3.8 mil + some of the highest paid assistants. NO EXCUSES!!!!

A better question might be: When aren't some Tigers fans in an uproar over something or the other?

No! I was born in 1954 and I watched the Tigers for a few more years than you and I can tell you that the last 10 years has been the best. And losing to Fla. and Alabama this year is nothing to be ashamed about. Penn State won 11 games this year. LSU played their 4th string running back because of injuries, The Ole Miss loss was a mess but the Tigers didn't quit. Miles didn't lose the team, they won a very hard game the next week. Spoiled rotten bunch of fans, 1 loss from winning 100 this decade and all you can do is bitch, which bitches do.

I will be happy to compete with the Alabama's and Florida's, as we have been doing.

Bama = 0 regular season losses last 2 years
Florida = 1 regular season loss last 2 years

LSU = 8 regular season losses last 2 years.

We're competing with the Ole Misses and South Carolinas of the world. Hell...Vanderbilt had a better SEC record than LSU in 08. How does that sit with ya?

I've been watching games since the mid 80s.
I guess your opinion matters more because you're 103.
That's stupid logic.

We'll engrave this quote on the side of the WANT Championship ring Miles will give to the team.

It's only 2 years...only 2 full seasons.
And LSU got better in 09.
Can't you see that?

LSU fans (on this site) have become a bunch of spoiled snotty kids.........

This times a thousand. I get sick of reading the negativity on this board. You are supposed to enjoy the program you support. Not whine and complain about every little thing because you hate the coach. I suspect most haters are just miserable human beings anyway.

When was RP an all-american? high school....so what
Would we have missed a beat this past season if our #1 rated HS QB hadn't been on the team?

Too much guaranteed stock in what RP would have done had he stayed.

there are many more things more important that LSU football. sorry I'm just not willing to simply accept a man pulling the program I love down with him.
Do I think my posts will change anything? nope
But I have the right to bitch......and say "told you so" when the sad truth comes to pass.
If you're content with the leader of your program being a laughing stock, so be it. I'm not.

Perhaps the biggest reason is fear, fear that Miles is leading the team into a downward spiral. Honestly I'm not really fond of Miles as a coach but we could be doing a lot worse

If there is one thing that really pisses me off about Miles it is that it is his inability to play and develop good talent, look as fans all we heard was how great the Randle's, Loston's, and Sheppard's were but they all got little to no playing time.

What Miles has to do is get the swagger of the team back, he has the talent just get the juices flowing and the team should take care of itself

don't know if you want Miles replaced but this is not a reason to keep a coach
don't be afraid to hit the jackpot
UF did
Bama did

I agree totally. Some of the folks on this rant are very enthusiastic about the tigers but that doesn't excuse their ignorance. Look at that hated USC. Had to use a freshman quarterback and look at whom they lost to and their record. It todays times you can't lose your starter or projected starter and be as successful as you would be with them. Lokk at OU and what happen. UT and losing McCoy in the 1st quarter. Imagine if UT had lost McCoy earlier in the year. I think we have some problems that need addressing but the majority of the problems will be solved when we solve the QB issue. Geaux Tigers
