We need to be more positive about throwing good money after bad results.

Reality is often confused with negativity.

Ignoring the same mistakes does not correct anything.

reality is going 52-15 with a nc. ignorance is wanting to fire a coach for that. BTW, never been a coach fired in college football for going right at 80%....at least for performance issues.

Reality is mediocrity that last 2 years in the SEC (losing to OM, AL and Fl both years) and a program falling out of the Elite when it is 100% all on your players, coaches and clock clock.

That my friend is what a vast majority of college football fans see when they look at LSU under Miles.

And the guy who left him the elite program is kicking a-- and taking names after 1 year in our division.

All this negative positivity is confusing my positive outlook on negative things that are construed as positive by the negatigers and negative by the positigers.

Larry Coker was 59-15 and was fired at Miami.

Coker may be a fairly good comparison to Miles. Difference is that The U did not handcuff themselves with a contract liability the size of the powerball.

No ignorance is ignoring a pretty steady decline in thing that would make a football program a powerhouse and trying to cover it up with decieving stats.

I am positive that our team will not go beyond a certain point with this coaching staff. I am positive that there are better coaches available who would do a better job.
The players are great, they deserve the chances to play at the highest level.

Just out of curiosity, what has their record been since then?

Have they competed for the National Title or conference crown since then, just wondering?

well shannon has had to rebuild their roster pretty much seeing as coker left them with pretty much nothing. his staff was notorious for recruting based on rivals recruiting rankings. shannon finally has the roster almost rebuilt and a lot is expected from the U this season. i'm sure the majority of miami fans are glad their ad didn't blindly look only at coker's overall record.

You said bad results....the only bad result is a loss. You're talking about bad ways to get a good result. Get your shite together man.

It doesn't change the fact the fact that the original statement was false....By the way LSU isn't exactly competing for titles lately either....From the looks of things that won't change this year.

No, unfortunately for them they didn't pull the trigger soon enough and the continuous exposure to mediocrity left a semi-permanent stain.
