I think this best answer is mickey Joseph
1. He does have head coach experience albeit at the NAIA level, that's more than anyone else on staff
2. He will allow the coordinators to continue to do their thing, hell does he even coach receivers
3. He's not a coach I'd really worry about retaining
4. He already has associate head coach title
I know Steve E is a popular choice but I don't see him coming back to onfield coaching.
Also I feel like last year O mentioned that if he missed a game due to covid that mickey would be the interim

First have to check and make sure they're fully vaxed so they can get into the stadium on gameday.
