Starkville throws a big block party with music called Bulldog Bash. Third Eye Blind is headlining. Usually about 30,000 people. Tiger fans should show up and make it even more, that is if fighting will be avoided on both sides.

damn that sounds awesome i wish i could make it to this game. third eye blind

We have gone to the Miss. St. game every year as long as I can remember. We stay at the Microtel Inn next to the Bonita Lake Mall in Meridian. Leaving Kenner at 9:00 am and should be in Meridian by 1:00. We go shopping at the mall. We are driving back immediately after the game.

went to starkville in '07. don't ever need to go again.

funny part is, if anyone was there also in '07, the game was already in hand and the entire lsu student section started yelling at this one msu fan in another section of the stadium for not wearing a shirt.

Try Columbus; about 25 miles away but don't be surprised if everything is booked. You may have to go to Jackson. Tons of motels there. We're booked into the Days Inn in Columbus; had plans for a big tailgate and then found out the 11:30 a.m. start time. So much for the tailgate...

Also try SilverStar or GoldenMoon casino in Philadelphia. About 1 hour and some change from Starkville.

Also try the cottages at Old Waverly. Reasonable rates considering.

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone know if the upper decks and lower bowl are connected or seperate? I can't figure out if it's possible to go back and forth.

You can walk between sides behind the student section in the endzone.

So I can go freely between the upper deck and lower deck?

yes, just bring your repeling gear.

Or you could walk down the ramps.
