No, but damn that really did not need to be asked. We are not a good team this year. We will be lucky to get a decent bowl and hope Miles can recruit like Saban. He sure as shite knows nothing about defense. I have never heard of a returning national champ hiring two fricking d' backs where is the goddamn accountability. Two egos and opinions on what should be done and neither is working. fricking frustrated.

Most dominant opposing rushing performances vs. LSU since '96:
1. Shaun Alexander, 1996, UA
2. Darren McFadden, 2007, Ark
3. Darren McFadden, 2006, Ark
4. Kenny Irons, 2005, AU
5. K. Moreno, 2008, UGA
I'm probably leaving one-three or so out, but just goes to show you how badly we were owned Saturday.

i liked you until this. hester is a great back though.
this is ridiculous homerism. moreno is just plain fricking better. he is doing it with much less of a line and is just damn better. also, scott, as you guys always say and praise, has more great backs around him. this gives him better ypc and effectiveness a la mcfadden and felix.

Defense held him in check for the first half, but when your starting quarterback is throwing pick six's from the first play from scrimmage it is hard to keep it up.

Yes and I'd take Al Woods over Glenn Dorsey.

knowshon is a special back. all he needs is a crack, he's got great balance, and he's hard to tackle. he's the kind of back you get in your program once in a blue moon. he's up there with hearst and walker as uga's best back ever. scott is damn good, but would y'all put him in the same category as Cannon, Alexander, Hilliard, Williams, or Faulk?

I just tell it like it is regardless of what people think. Give me Hester and Moreno and we are plain fricking nasty. 4th and 1 to win any game regardless of situation. I take Hester and I will bet my house he finds the stick. Moreno is a game changer kind of like Reggie Bush. The more touches he gets the greater chance he has of breaking one to the house. Both damn good football players!

I'll agree and no I wouldn't. It would be like y'all putting Lars Tate or Tim Worley in your elite backs group.
Now, if he does this again next season...for sure.

Speaking of a homer! No way he comes even close to Walker.

Moreno or Sammy Martin?
Stafford or Chad Loup?
Stafford or Chad Loup?

until you said hester over moreno. disagree here. moreno is the 2nd best back uga has ever seen.

hands down it's moreno..sorry i'm not gonna be a "homer" on this one, but moreno is everything scott has to offer and more!...

Bold. To play Devil's Advocate: Let me ask you where he's better than:
Rodney Hampton
Lars Tate
Garrison Hearst
Robert Edwards
Terrell Davis
Musa Smith
Just wanting a Dawg fan's perspective. FWIW, I'd rank him 3rd behind Walker and Hearst.

I agree with you.
Give me Moreno for most touches in the game. Give me Hester to break jaws in short yardage situations.

he will end better than hearst especially if he stays next year.
Posted on 10/30/08 at 9:26 pm to PiscesTiger
lars tate was a workaday back. Worley otoh could be compared to Cecil Collins. a potentially dominating talent who was derailed by injuries and foolishness.

No offense. I guess you weren't the one to ask about many of those backs who I listed.
