I'm not knocking him i mean hell at least he actually GOT TO the natl champ game. But he's only won one of em. So has Miles. I'm not really dissatisfied by Miles just yet. This season will make or break it for him though. LSU is an elite school and if we are going to be an elite football program like we have in years past we need a coach that can win. Stoops can win. Just not against the SEC in big games. Or national championships.

You can't say that about Miles.

No. What I can say is he is tied 2-2 against Big Game Bob, with much lesser talent.

Lots of coaches wish they would have won one.

Well, the SEC is the premier conference in college football. Texas has seen what happens against a strong SEC team in a national title game.

Again, if you were trying to knock Stoops, you didn't do that good of a job.

I said i'm not trying to knock him. I respect him as a coach. He's better at utilizing players then Miles is, by far.

And he's 2-3 against Houston Dale, with much more talent.

Correct!

This thread just proves even more the huge dumbasses on this board.

What Pelini has done at Oklahoma, LSU and Nebraska vs what Mushcamp has done in his career is not even close.

See this is the problem with some LSU fans. Let me guess.....You look at Miles overall record at LSU and think he's a great coach right?

Pelini is not a bad coach. Not at all. But you are crazy if you think Texas is just gonna hand over that program to anybody. Muschamp has an excellent resume, and once given a chance, will prove to be a great head coach.

What Pelini and Muschamp have done as coordinators is pretty close.

Really? Jefferson over Snead? Do you really believe this?

We are not talking about anybody, Les or Texas. The question is who would you rather have as a head coach. If Texas could get Pelini as their head coach instead of Muschamp I bet you anything they would!

I'm not a muschamp hater at all,I like him and wanted him over Les Miles when Saban left. I think he'll be a good HC but right now he's not in Pelini's league. Pelini will do big things at Nebraska.

Are you suggesting that Arky's '07 team and the past 2 Ole Miss teams have had superior talent across the board?

lol do you really think that if Texas wanted Pelini as our head coach we couldn't get him?

There is a reason mack/doss picked coach boom to give the keys to the castle.

I'm still trying to figure out why Texas hired A former Tulane Head Coach to run their program.

No telling what Headbutt will do there. I imagine it will be very Ron Zook-like.

He's won over 80 percent of his games at Texas and multiple conference titles. You can't say that about Miles at any place he's been head coach.

Yeah, you also mocked the idea of Saban being successful at Bama. Shows how much you know.

I'm not suggesting that. I am suggesting That Darren McFadden was one of the best RBs to every play in the SEC & his backup Felix Jones was very good.

If you do not believe 1 or 2 players can make that big a difference, I suggest you look at what Chris Jackson did to Florida as a true Freshman, his first "Big" game. Take a look at Kevin Faulk vs. Houston. Take a look at Vince Young vs. USC.
