not actual wildcat, but I'd like to see JJ running the read option with Shep as the back. Say what you want about JJ, but he runs that pretty well. Putting Shep back there gives you an interesting matchup; JJ as the pounder (and he does hit hard), and Shep to stretch to the sideline. If you play to take away Shep's sweep, JJ should be able to get 5+ yds at will. If you bunch to stop him, Shep could break a big one
This brings up a good question. Didn't know whether to start a new thread for it so I'll keep it here.
How are our WR's at blocking for this type of play? Comming out of high school I thought Landry would be great at this because of his physical play. But I think he definitely needs some more time/Moffit to step up his physicality to SEC level play. It's one of those things one doensn't always look at closely (or at least I don't) but a lot depends on whether our receivers can get the blocking done on physical DB's and maybe even linebackers.

I like Magee as the QB. I saw a couple of his games on CST last year and he has a decent arm.

Ware...... but man, I forgot how fast JJ is, he was flying against Kentucky...

No Brainer. Shep. This was what made him the #1 running HS QB in nation. If Les had let him throw an occasional pass in the past two years, what a threat he would have become.
