I hope the blocking scheme is much improved so all the rbs can do well. That is key to how well they do running and how many yards they will get.

Seems like our running backs seem to get worse as they get older besides Hester and Addai.

Vincent and K. Williams being the best examples of this.

Williams and Scott looked a lot bulkier this year than 07 and seemed to lack the same speed and explosion.

that being said. I'd like to see Ford and Ware get the bulk of the carries with Shep being the speed back.

E. S. Ware (w/Murphy close behind, assuming he's healthy by week one).

Ridley - 650 yards
Ford - 535 yards
Murphy - 375 yards
Sheppard - 265 yards (rushing)
Calhoun - 214 yards

Unless we have injuries, I don't see any of the freshman playing this year.

I'll say Ridely with around 600 yards.

I just hope we can utilize it well. If we don't have a beast running game this season then somethiing is wrong.

Ive said it before. Ridley will be the feature this year with Murphy getting signifigant carries as well. Ridley will be top 3 in the SEC in rushing this year. I hear the OL is much improved. Ridley looks great, working out like an animal. Ford will be zero factor. Mark these words.

I say Ridley because I see alot of "we have the want to play Ford" coming this season but hopefully who ever it is has a great year.

C, but none of them will have what we call "a lot" of rushing yards.

Considering LSU hasn't practiced one day as a unit together...I'm going to say you heard shite. How can the o-line be improved when they haven't even practiced together yet this Spring?

Murphy might be injury prone, but Miles loves to hand the ball to the older, more experienced running back. He doesn't start people of limited experience over veterans.

I think Murphy and Ridley will be 1,2 respectively.

RS-benched.

Ford is the strongest pound for pound guy on the team now. I think he gets serious playing time.
