Won't be a one. Just WR.

Double A or Brown?

It depends on how you look at this. If it’s about position, AA will be in the slot, not the outside. Some will consider that outside position as WR1, no matter what.

AA will probably be our most productive WR, though. From that perspective, I’m sure many will think of him as WR1.

I do think Barion Brown will have something to say about this, though. I’ve always wanted Hilton to be that guy, but he’s just limited to being a speed guy. That screen to him right before half showed that he just isn’t that versatile. It wasn’t a great play setup, but he lost his footing on his own before he even had a chance to do anything with the ball. He’s just not that guy.

Brown looks almost as fast, but a lot more versatile. He slotted right in Saturday and is going to be a weapon. And we’ll see about Nic Anderson, probably starting this weekend.

ZT seems like the best all around WR. AA & TG will get theirs but ZT is a straight dog and obvious gamer. They had to double team him on routes and he was killing people in the run game. Kyle Parker also deserves a shout out. He was nasty blocking and when he had his number called he caught the ball. I’m looking for Parker & BB to get more playing time in the coming weeks. Don’t see how ZT, AA, & BB should ever come off the field. Parker should come in to spell whenever there’s a chance.

Hilton was a huge disappointment and NA didn’t get a whole lot of opportunity. This room is deep and I expect the competition to push NA & Hilton to be what we expect them to be. This is a good spot to be in

And he blocks

If you watch the Carter the Power offensive breakdown, Parker had a couple of really good run blocks. He’s not huge, but he gets it done. A really good replacement for CJ Daniels as a blocker, route runner and really reliable 3rd or 4th option.

His size does limit him a bit, but damn if he doesn’t play his arse off to compensate. He had some physical YAC and a couple of nice blocks. He really impressed me Saturday. He’s not just a gadget guy. He’s a legit weapon catching and in the run game.

But I do think AA is a little more of a natural WR.

These are good problems to have.
