Everyone knew that the scheme (Ricky ) needed changes to get the QB that he needed to get over the hump, but he wouldn't do it. So every year was like the last, "...if we only had a decent QB..."

Exactly ....and thus...Les was shown the door...all of this was of his own making.

He went 13-0 with that offense in 2011.

It's what it all boils down to. Saban has changed his offenses over the years. Orgeron is changing his offense (again), everyone does it. Miles wouldn't. Kids come to schools like LSU to showcase their wares for the NFL, they all think they have it. Top QBs didn't see LSU as that vehicle to showcase themselves.

Not many people on here. Because.. well, you know.

I absolutely disagree with the premature nature of the hire, but I've backed him since he was hired and I told myself it will be a couple full years before we can judge him (or any other coach), and so far he's delivered.

If anyone has wanted more than what O has provided, they are unrealistic and ignorant on how these things work.

It's that simple.

Do you really think Herman or Jimbo would have come in here and wrecked shite their first year or two with no viable QB in the stable?

Without a shadow of a doubt.

Then why did Jimbo only win 9 with a returning starting QB, top RB in the SEC, and a senior-laden front 7 that was forth in the nation in run defense?

Then you're a bigger dumbass than you've already proven yourself to be in this thread....and why your ilk could not and would not recognize that Les's time had passed.

That year was fueled by defense, field position and special teams. shite, we beat UGA in the SECCG with 5-13 passing for 30 yards.

2016 didn't have that luxury.

You don't think the job he did with Mond was impressive?

If he could've done that with Brandon Harris that would've put LSU in the playoffs without a doubt.

No. Burrow's stats were almost identical/slightly better yet Mond was in his second year starting and Burrow arrived in Baton Rouge in June.

Herman french kisses his players, mocks opposing players like a middle schooler, and cries on the field...got no use for this POS here at LSU.

One guy's a true sophomore and the other had been in an Urban Meyer offense for 3+ years.
