KR are one of the most dangerous plays in a football game for multiple reason. If you broke down the chance for someone to get injured on a per snap basis for each type of play KR and less so PR would probably be near or at the top.

----------------------

bullshite!!

Get back with me at the end of this season, and give me your tally for PR/KR injuries.

This line of thought is pure folly.

Kitavis,

I completely agree.

Thank God we don't have a total pussy running our team who is constantly in fear of players being hurt.

you are correct that a planted foot would lead to the knee "exploding" as you put it, but absolutely wrong about no damage if you are in the air. Go talk to Dr. Bankston who is one of the team physicians and he will laugh you out the door.

Because they were both in on almost every down last year. Shep will be in on limited downs, just like TH is.

You can talk your theory shite all day dude. If you truly believe it wont do damage, find someone to hit in the knee you while you are running running and jumping in the air. Come back and let us know how it turns out.

the same coach used early doucet in 06... even though he was in on every down.

reggie bush retuirns punts... and he's in on every down.

Yeah, shite like that can happen too lmao. And you arent going to get the same injury everytime someone gets hit a certain way. Depends on the person and exact circumstances, but yes, you can have knee damage being hit while in the air, I have experienced it first hand, not on the football field, but in rugby.

this thread is funny

what are we even discussing anymore?

I think shep should be returning kicks and punts (if he wants to) since its just as dangerous, or less dangerous than taking snaps at QB,WR,RB.

he's going to be LSU's "playmaker" for the next 4 years.
