"see gas station analogy on page 1 and try again. thanks"
It was a horrible analogy and makes no more sense now than it did then.

Seriously, I've enjoyed it. It's not often I get to talk to someone who's so afraid of life and making mistakes. I never get to look at life through the eyes of a total pussy.
trying to play the psychology card... thats funny

no, it makes perfect sense.

LSU started playing football in 1893 and you can't name a single player who suffered a career ending injury at kick returner.
I win.
Peace out, Bubbleboy. Make sure you wash your hands several times today as the swine flu virus is going around. That must worry you to death!
Good luck to you my timid little friend!

im also not going to take the time to look one up. regardless its beside the point as your woefull comprehension skills have failed you yet again.
but take it easy. its been laughable watching you hide behind your pseudo-psychology and childish insults when facts failed. im sure ill be pimping you again some day soon.

Weak. You're going to spend all day on this message board, yet you can't take the time to name one player to prove your point?
Harper, seriously man. This is your opportunity to make me shut up. Prove your point.
If the kick returner spot is so dangerous, why have we never had a player suffer a career ending injury in our 100+ years as a football team?
Tick tock, el Puseta.

well, to be fair ive tried googeling it about 20 different ways and in much broader terms than just lsu and it gets jumbled.
seriously, try it see if you get anything. either way i don't need an example to prove that kick returning is more dangerous than standing in the pocket.
physics can do that.

He should return punts. Georgia backup QB Logan Gray did for them last year.

Seriously Harper, you can't find any record of it because it hasn't happened. Give up the argument. You're flat out wrong.
It's okay to be wrong sometimes. You're not going to win every message board discussion. It does make you look really weak when you can't admit it, though.

and if they're in the air being hit in the knee isn't going to do ligament damage anywyay.
OK, with that statement you have lost any and all credibility. Do you REALLY believe if you are in the air and get hit in the knee that it wont do ligament damage???

why would it? torque it what strains and sprains. if a foot isn't planted you wouldnt have resistance to impact i.e. torque or the energy would transfer to your hip at worst

Still waiting on you to name one player.
Posted on 8/27/09 at 1:40 pm to Dignan
still waiting on you to explain why punts are more dangerous than kicks
and ive explained the irrelevance about 15 times now.

A team goes without a majory injury for 115 years and you still consider it dangerous?
Do you triple bag it with the wife, just to be safe?

OK, lets think about it. If you are running forward and jump in the air....and get hit in lets say the shoulder...does your whole body just fall back, or does the part of your body being hit stop and the rest keeps trying to go forward? Same principle with your knee. If you get hit in the knee cap, the rest of your body tries to keep going. This could cause the knee to hyperextend, which yes, will cause damage. It doesnt matter if it bends back for a half second or 2 seconds, its still bent back and causes problems. Ive had way too many knee injuries and surgeries to let you BS your way through that one.

I don't see it happening
------------
I never understand this. Shepard---even Randle are in luxury positions, and can certainly be "let out" to other duties.
Another thing is, "where's the danger"? I've been watching football at all levels for nearly 40 yrs, and have never seen a KR, or PR injured in doing so.
There's NO REASON not to have your most dynamic ball runners run KOs, and punts.

no. the resistance of you knee as a whole is far greater than the resistance of air to the rest of your body which is moving forward and up already.
you'd go over the defender with your knee locked at worst.
a planted foot in this scenario would lead to a knee explosion however.
