2002 was the worst scoring offense between 2000 and 2014.

Again, cherry picking stats. We averaged 57 yards/game in terms on penalties 2002.

2014- 46 yds/game.

Also, think of the talent gap of 2002 team to the 2014 team. Its a HUGE difference. LSU had just started recruiting well in 2001. All the upperclassmen on the 2002 team were recruited by DiNardo. Saban was named head coach in November of 1999.

Not 100% accurate...but

2001 Recruiting Class #21

It was just the beginning of the Saban regime. 2014 is 10 years after Miles had started......the culture is now 100% Miles.

I believe cam is a good o.c., he's proved it at all levels, just two years ago we had a dynamic offense. his hands have been tied by the h.c. and talent he inherited. If you want him gone, give him another year then let him go. At least we have three quality qb's for the next guy to work with at that point.

Cam is at best an average Pro OC with a couple of horrendous years sprinkled in. The problem it seems is that unless he has a pro type quarterback his system is very ineffective. Being that a Mett type talent only comes around once every 10 years are we to just live with the other 7 or 8 years of bad offense? All one has to do is turn on college football on a given Saturday to see what good OC's are doing to help their QB's...making it easier on them to be successful.

The 30 yard route trees are make it very difficult for an inexperienced QB to be comfortable. This could be why both Harris and Jennings have looked so bad at times.
