I was all in on Jimbo...

So I wasn't happy we settled for O.

Jimbo has the resume and LSU connection.

O was DL coach and failed HC

I felt my reasoning was good...

I'm loving the current season and direction

I felt like we could do better at the time.

That's a thumbs up on your assessment of that season and I will go even further ,that season was a shite show that would have certainly led to a 5 or 6 lose season in my Judgement of what had already taken place up to that point with the previous coaching staff so when LM was axed and Eddy O was named interim head coach there really wasnt a doubt in my mind he would at least right the ship and his players have always loved him but what I didn't know is he was start firing MFs , out the gate he put Ensminger at O/c runs off the cancer D.Craig WR /RC and then announced we were gonna throw the ball to set up the run , 3 and 4 WR sets I was like dammit son get it how you live Orgeron ,and oh yeah a real big move he made was cutting the bear Bryant styled scrimmages during the week where LM had em going 1 on 1s knocking there heads off ,running like dogs just to have em wore out by game day , strated USC style NFL style position groupings working on techniques and game plan was music to my ears ever since the 11' Natty game when the rumors of how LM practiced and scrimmaged the kids in the ground before gamday.But the players responded ,I loved Danny etling but he was just an game manger type QB and in no way could he just go out and go 34 -39 for 400 and 4 TDs that just wasn't his game but that had nothing to do with Eddy O ,LM reputation for LSU being a death trap for QB careers was what it was and Etling was the culmination that. LM evaluation of QB was as bad as it got in the SEC , I still think back to Zach mett sitting on the bench and knowing this kids was January enrolly when he transfered from J/C and there's no way LM couldn't see that kids talent and moxy running scout team so if you didn't wanna play JLee he should of been ready , any way off point there but I was in the corner that dang I wanted Tom Herman I really did , I wasn't crazy with Jimbo as everyone else just bc if the way he handled Jamies Winston I thought showed some less than honorable character issues with Jimbo ,it wasn't an XO thing it was a dicipline thing , it was to much of difference in that department from LM stance , Ryan Perriloux would have never missed a game with Jimbo coaching him , bet that up , but when Tom Herman was playing games ,using LSU for a bigger pay day from Texas then I really started thinking about Eddy O being from Louisiana and knowing he could recruit I just thought if he hired an OC etc and delegated the offense then it could really work , shite that is all Les had to do , hire a bit shot O/C and take his head set away from him.and he would have been here till croaked over on the sidelines but it is what it is but man the Ed O haters were just out of the box bruh , I took sometime off from 247 and tigerdroppings bc it was just hard to read 52 threads about Orgeron , man we we lost the game against Troy he instantly hit the hot seat I remembered back to losing to UAB in Satan's first year and the Brook trout press conference and folks just couldn't see the common thread there but in 3 years he has hit in every single decision he made except probably the O/C hire his Second year , recruiting is better and more need base philosophy ,nation wide approach lure on of the top Grad transfer QBs in the history of Transfer , It's amazing and lil luck in there but a man that will set his nut sack on the table and ride or die with his decision is what this program needed , and it's led to exactly what LSU has become again, national power , Heisman front runner , #1 one in the country , #1 or #2 in the country in recruiting for this cycle ,Sec west/league champ potentially ,seriius Natty contention, shite are you series ? Unfreaking believable . LSU backed into this one and they better damn well pony up the funds for the man bc he proved even the administration wrong !
