Donte Jackson is literally the event horizon.

Donte Jackson:
100m - 10.30 (+3.8w)
200m - 21.26 (+.6w)

Jeryl Brazil:
55m - 6.25
60m - 6.76
100m - 10.36 (+.9w)
200m - 20.81 (+3.5w)

Looks pretty close, but Brazil's PRs were all from his Junior season.
Give my Brazil.

Glad you don't have to run 200m in a football game scenario.

There is a chance for 100m.

There is also a better chance for a 60m scenario. But football has nothing to do with who's faster.

Does Donte ever run the 55 or 60M?

If he really runs a 4.24 40 yd, he should put up some ridiculous times.

Not sure. Couldn't find any results online or the LHSAA archives.
If that 4.24 is legit he'll be scary in the 60m this upcoming winter.

Donte said his laser time is 4.33, which is consistent with the bump you get from hand times.

Bennie Brazell was much faster. Granted, Donte is young and should get even faster through the S&C program and physical maturity.

It's not. If it was we'd be saying he runs a 4.18. The low time is NEVER legit.

Oh, and WTF are you saying that speed has nothing to do with football? Are you an idiot?

Bennie Brazell was a 400 hurdler, not a short sprinter like Brazil and Jackson.

Brazil was faster than Jackson coming out of high school. That's all anyone can compare at this point.

Brazil's 10.36 in the 100 with 0.9 wind is better than Jackson's 10.30 with 3.8 wind.

Brazil ran 6.70 in the 60. That time would put him in the top 10 at most collegiate conference meets. He was also the back to back national champion in the event.

Brazil also ran 4.32 laser timed at the opening before his senior year.

Who would win in a 50 meter race on a track with the wind in their face in full pads but barefoot on a third Wednesday in March:

Eddie Kennison
Benny Brazile
Trindon with Herm on his back
The Freshman
Xavier Carter

There is one correct answer- Todd Kinchen.

Argument done.

Honorable mention Chad Loup and the kid from Harvard
