The 79 team...made it to the final 16 and got beat by Michigan State, who had Magic Johnson playing for them.

"2 good guys this board shouldn't forget,
Charles carmouche and Shavon Coleman"
Love me some Shavon...reminded me of Lester Earl's little brother. Forget his name but both these dudes were overmatched physically,
but played their butts off every game!

Andre Stringer was one of my favorite players.

I was so excited after hearing we made the tourney in '15, only to be crushed after that blown lead against NC State.
I don’t think I’ve ever been more dissappointed at a loss than that one. Those free throws down the stretch were killers. We had that game in our hands, but if we win that Johnny Jones is probably still our coach so it was worth it in a strange way.

Season tickets since Trent Johnson's first year and attend almost every home game.
I wish Hamilton would have stayed for one more year. My recollection was that he had gotten married and wanted to cash in on his basketball skills. Wikipedia says he is currently playing for the Beijing Ducks.

Hamilton was one of the better post players we have had at LSU. he was a very fundemental post player. A lot Like Kevin Mchale. Not as talented but same type of game.
