How? It was the best WR corps we'll see in the regular season this year except for Bama. If we play conservative again, our DBs will have their work cut out for them. There are plenty of things to improve on, including their attitudes.

if you're not concerned, you should be. Great goal line stand but most of the game, especially the second half they were garbage. Reminded me of the 2007 defense. All the praise and stats in the world but wet the bed on big plays. How many 3rd downs did they convert?
Man that was the best QB we will face all year with the possible exception of Tua. Ehlinger is a fantastic QB. Gonna copy and paste a reply from a thread yesterday regarding the similarity of Texas’ numbers to A&M’s numbers against Clemson last year. It’s mine so whatever...

Man I don’t have time to read through this whole thread so this may have already been mentioned. Clemson gave up 501 yards in College Station last year to Kellen Mond. Did you see their defense at the end of the season? We were on the road in 100 degree heat, not getting a lot of time on the bench, and Sam Ehlinger is a HELL of a QB. Much better than Mond, IMO.
The LSU D will be fine.

the defense is going to be one of the most dominate defenses we have had in years before it is all said and done. Just way to much talent and depth at all 3 levels not to. Lot of people worried about CB depth, but that is being addressed with Hampton being moved to CB and Jay Ward returning from injury. Next real test is against Florida which the defense will dominant them.
