Good point. They have pretty decent DTs but are weaker at DEs.

I was actually asking, not trying to be a smartass.

But apparently outside, which favors Ford.

But as the past two games have gone, I'd expect their share to be basically equal.

I have a feeling miles will go with Ware more to get the tougher yards.

agree, it's not a knock on miles for me. just what's needed to counter state's style.

My bad bro, just read it differently, and didn't want it to seem like I was being a smartass- like "you didn't see the AU/STATE game, if you did, you would no answer to this question" if that makes sense...

I get it. Context is hard to discern on a message board.

Didn't pay close enough attention to AU/State, where did Dyer have success, inside or outside?

He got most of his yards on the outside. I don't know if that was because of Miss State, or because that's the strength of their running game. They got most of their running yards on the outside as well vs Utah State.

Les said Ware starts.

Les said hot hand gets more carries but fresh guy gets a chance too.

So.. Ware, Ford, maybe Blue.

I predict we do not see the two freshmen who fumbled AT ALL..

I think Ford will get slightly more carries every game from now on.

Miles on Ford & Ware:
quote:

“I like the best back for the series and for the plays,” he said. “I think a hot hand; a hand that is reminiscent of ball security and a guy that is fresh are the best options."

Good ole Les.

Check the fumble statistics. Ford will likely get the nod and I think we can also surmise that under no circumstances will it be Gore

I like both a lot, I think Ford has looked better this year. Small sample size.
