All you have to do is watch Bregman 1 game at third and you know White doesn’t have a snowballs chance in hell of playing 3rd in the majors. In fact in the ninth today he took a slow roller down the line, charged, transitioned and threw a dart to first. White would have shite and left it in his pocket.

It’s weird because He has good actions and can make it look natural at times, but he has way too many lapses where it looks like he doesn’t care. I think if he committed to it, he could play there. But he doesn’t play with the urgency you need at 3B. I don’t even think he plays an average 3B right now.

Berry had a .917 fielding percentage. White is at .826. That is absolutely terrible. Jordan Thompson was terrible last year and fielded .894. Tommy White is obviously amazing with the bat in his hands but he is extremely sub par at third base.
