im assuming you are talking about Jhutleberg, and if so,FWIW I'll take what JH says over tiger rant posters everyday of the week and twice on sundays.

Thats just me though.
Maybe im in the minority.

Every single poster who went to the scrimmage said Jefferson did not throw a pick 6. Lee threw one to Brooks, and according to the Bayou Bengal blog, Garrett threw one to Harry Coleman. It seems very clear.

Members of the mainstream media make mistakes all the time. Just watch an episode of PTI or Around the Horn and see how many errors you catch. And Jordy is nowhere near the level of those guys.

:notthisshitagain:

We had numerous reports from very credible people that JL and CG each threw a pick six. BTW, if you really think Jordy is credible then I've wasted by time any way. That dude is about as unreliable as it gets when it comes to "inside info."

yeah only diff is with PTI they cover EVERY SINGLE SPORT.

JH.... not so much.
Id like to think that his info is reliable when discussing LSU football, Im mean to say he has the inside track isnt stretching it.

Imagine if you had JH job..?
would you fukc it up as bad as yall say he does.?
I wouldnt.

jefferson didn't throw a pick six INT.

it was a 50 yd deep pass jump ball to end the practice session.

jordy made a mistake.

which he does all the time.

What's even funnier is YOUR complete lack of understanding on this entire fricking topic.

FWIW, I'll take my chances on info from the dumbest poster on the rant any day over Jordy. OK, maybe that's a stretch but it was reported here first by BilJ who I DEFINITELY trust with info a whole helluva lot more than JH.

he really doesn't have a fricking clue.

notice how he's been gone since scrimmage reports came out?

then he pops back up when someone says jordy hultberg said jefferson threw a pick 6, which he did not.

tojo is quite pathetic.

There was more than one dumbass

quote:
Defensive back Ron Brooks had perhaps the best day for any defender as he intercepted a pair of passes, returning the second 48-yards for a touchdown. Brooks, who is also expected to return kickoffs along with Trindon Holliday next year, added three tackles.

Other defensive highlights included safety Harry Coleman with an interception return for a touchdown, linebacker Perry Riley returning a fumble for a score, safety Chad Jones recovering a fumble and defensive tackle Drake Nevis forcing a fumble.

Were you really there?

JJ did not throw a pick 6. i was there, he threw 1 pick on a 50 yard bomb

also, Coleman? did a backflip into the endzone after his pic6, followed by Chavis running all the way down to celebrate with him in the endzone.

and everyone thought LSU was going to get drummed in the chick fil a bowl.
No they didn't. Several people were quite confident because we were facing a team without a challenging passing game that would be likely to expose our defense. Many people were confident that our one strength of last year's defense (run stopping) would match up well with Georgia Tech's offense. And many of those people thought that our offense with either QB under center would be good enough to beat a team that couldn't expose our questionable defense.

I know a lot of people did think we would get beat, but that doesn't make it "everyone." Don't claim that everybody was wrong about that game just to make some kind of point now.

kinda like you're rootin against JJ getting the starting nod???
No, it's not at all the same because the second best QB in history can fail to win the starting job, and that's not "rooting against him." The people rooting against Lee not only want him not to get the starting job but ALSO want him to be a horrible QB so they can laugh at him and ridicule him. Some people (the rational, sane ones who care more about LSU football than "being right" or getting to make fun of a 19 year old kid living a greater dream than they ever came close to living) are actually rooting for BOTH of them to become really good QBs, as well as Garrett and Shep. Some people who want the team to win want all of them to improve and become really good, and frankly don't care which one wins the starting job because if they are ALL really good then ALL of them would do a really good job.

But, some people aren't like that. Some people are so much more interested in enjoying Lee's failure than seeing LSU win that they've already committed themselves to booing Lee if he takes the first snap against Washington. And that is laughably pathetic.

And until you see someone claiming that they will boo Jefferson if he takes the first snap against Washington, then there is absolutely no comparison between the rational supporter of ALL our QBs and the yahoos like Doc, etc., who are actively hoping for an LSU QB to suck, suffer and fail.

Did Doc really say that, i.e. that he would boo Lee if he was the starter on our opener?

no, I really didn't.

I would never boo any college player.

I'm, albeit futilely, trying to give some clarification to this whole Lee/Jefferson madness. I want to know where everyone stands that post on this, because I'm getting tired of implications, and well... bullshite.

I think it's obvious that Jefferson should be the #1. I think it's obvious that Lee should be continually groomed as the back-up. What Shep. and Garret do in practice could change things somewhat, but we haven't (I haven't) seen that, certainly not in game conditions.

For what it's worth....
