They tried to convert him to that this year and it led to a late tailspin in confidence for him.

If they do put him in a starting role next season, it should start with midweek starts to build his confidence up and ease him into the weekend rotation by SEC play

Baseball is different than football in terms of money. Diffrent teams pay out different amounts regardless of what pick or what round. I think it's well known that the Yankees and Pirates pay really well now and I think San Diego is cheap if I remember correctly.

I would be a little surprised to see Ross drafted in the top 10 rounds, seems like a 12-20th round guy where it depends on the offer as to whether or not he comes back. Ross, Alsup and Matulis (got to get him going) would be a very good rotation.
