I was at a church camp as a counselor for the weekend. My mom kept calling me and updating me. When Kentucky took the lead late I was on the phone with her and we said our goodbyes like someone died. It was so depressing. Then like 3 minutes later she started calling my phone again. I had this insane chill go down my spine when I saw that she was calling. I knew something must have happened. I answered and I couldnt understand a word she was saying. All she was doin was screamin and so I started screaming and I just knew that we won.

After that game I vowed to never again turn a game off with a chance and time left on the clock.
I also decided I'd never give up on a game as long as we mathematically had a chance to win.
Of course, I thought the Troy game was mathematically over because I didn't think they would go full retard and keep throwing the ball and stopping the clock.

That play happened one minute before I told my wife I would suck her dick if they completed a hail mary pass to win the game. She then proceded to grow a dick (which I had a tough time understanding much less sucking) being that the Tigers pulled out a win. A compromise reach-a-round was negotiated and the marriage survived. Although, I did make the same statement I should not have during the Troy halftime. After more negotiating me and the dog are now really good friends. You know the rest of the story.

That game is why I will always believe LSU has a chance to win every game until it's completely over. I was telling my friend that we would NOT lose to Troy, even when we were way down at the end of the 3rd quarter. I guess I just refuse to believe that LSU will lose the game until the clock hits zero.
I guess I'm an enternal optimist. I thought we could come back against Georgia down to the last few minutes.

Or if you watched any baseball last year.
Still though, I love the stories.

I know exactly where I was...over at my Mom's laying on the floor in front of the TV. You could hear me screaming two houses away.
awesome. Funny how you remember those things. I remember exactly where I was when Warren Morris hit his homerun too.

I was in my parents living room and had just called my dad to bitch. He was at Sears because my mom dragged him to the mall. I called him screaming, and he started cursing because he had just left the TV section at sears!!
Also, I straight up cleared my parents coffee table due to the adrenaline after that shite!!

I'm with you BayouKat. I knew we still had a chance to win which is why I watched the Hail Mary. I also believed we could come back against Miami in the CWS.
Only reason I gave up on the Troy game is because I didn't think a comeback was mathematically possible.

I seriously don't know how I believed it either. But whenever we get down in games, I start thinking something like: "Okay well, if we score RIGHT now, and then do an onside kick, and then get the ball back, and then we score again, we can win the game!"
...although I said something like that right down to the last few minutes of the Georgia and Ole Miss games, and that didn't turn out well. During the Alabama game, I thought we had a shot to block the kick like we did against Ohio State, but I still couldn't watch. I had to look down the whole time because it was making me nervous.

I was in the control room of the plant where I was working at the time, watching the game on TV with a coworker. Long faces after Kentucky took the lead. And the, the miracle. (I love the expressions on the frat boy's face, too.)

We had a party and everyone went outside when Kentucky scored. I was the only one left watching the tv. I had muted the sound because I couldn't stand to hear the Kentucky fans celebrating. I think neighbors heard me screaming 2 blocks away
