But yeah he would have made a difference, I think he's our best 3-point shooter and the corner 3's were there all night.

I mean, Georgia played fairly poorly, that game was there for the taking even without Ward but we matched their poor play for most of the game. Frustrating loss.


If you believe in the advanced metrics, Ward is probably your second most efficient player...behind Wright. So yes, having him available in a game where not much offense was required to win would have been a big boost. I, like you, would love to know why he was "unavailable" since he was dressed out and on the bench.
