For the football program to go south.

I can remember the LSU basketball program being decent back in the day (not great, but decent).
The basketball program was more than "decent" back in the day ... unless "back in the day" means the late '90s.

I agree TigerJeff. Sometimes...when you have a stomach virus and you feel miserable, you go to the doctor and hope the doctor puts you on something that will clear up the problem pronto. Realistically, you know and the doctor knows it will probably be 3 days before you get back to work. Still...you expect to feel better right now and want to go shoot pool with the fellas tonight. Patience is a virtue and as hard as it seems to be patient with a subpar basketball program, we need to give Trent his 5 years and grin our teeth and support the program. we don't have to like the medicine we have to take right now, but we have to trust our doctor, or our coach. I say...invest yourself into other things that can make you feel better than LSU sports, cause the basketball team is going through growing pains and we do not have a choice in this matter. Firing TJ would be epic fail. Honor this man and his contract. If two years can't get this ship righted, then we will get a second opinion. Gotta have faith, that in the end, the hard work and the recruits will strengthen this program and we will have a basketball team to be proud of. Lets swallow the medicine and relax. Time will heal all wounds. Trust me...I am a doctor. not really.

They can have him, thanks.
I'm sure he's looking over his shoulder at Richard Williams (the old Mississippi State coach, who was hired as an assistant in August) already.
Oh, and it looks like he's drawing crowds like he did at LSU, too.
Carry that shite elsewhere, son.

We are extremly young and to me we are using scholarships very smart not getting players that we don't really expect to help out an taking time to build the cure of a team honestly think we are 2 years away from being a very good team I see alot of talent but try are all freshmen and don't have a go to player that cab create their on shot yet regularly but when these freshmen are juniors look out

We are BUILDING an NIT powerhouse at best. What freshmen are you talking about, Darenbecker is way to slow to play at this level, Stringer is out of control, and Ralston Turner is the best of this group he can play. NIT here we come

Tiger authority you are wrong. This team will be no better next year are the year after. Becuase he's is not recruiting top players. I mean 5 star top 10 players as the two previous coaches did.
Brown and Brady.
However I do agree with you about brady he had to go he was psychologically damaging the players I know some of his former players.
Why isnt he TJ recruiting players like Nash or miller or Davis , Both dale brown and brady did much better at recruiting.
Why do some of you keep excusing this guy?

They are top 10 fd and five stars in all recruiting services. Miller went to Baylor.

Missed layups, missed freethrows, and airballs. I suggest they could do as well or better blindfolded. CoMonMan, you can't be missing friggin layups!!
