Chase's only opportunity to excel with his ability and skill set was at OT. Don't see why anyone would ask "Where is he" as if he should be making noteworthy plays left and right in practice. Unless/until he turns into a real OT, he is just a dime a dozen guy on the team.

This is just my opinion, but I think he's falling behind one or two of the freshmen. Alem, Levingston, and Aghayere are the top three. Some say Montgomery and maybe even Brockers have moved in front of Chase.
We'll see how it unfolds.

Edwards is ahead of Aghayere, and I wouldn't be surprised if Brockers and Monty are ahead of both Chancey and Clement.

The last thing we need is another DL moving to OL.

As I said, rushing from DT on 3rd downs is the best bet. He is big enough to do that, and his long arms would be an advantage.

I am wondering if the reports about Brockers and Montgomery means that Clement and Lavar Edwards have been pushed back in the depth chart.

I know that Aghayere is right in the mix.

My thinking is that while reports about Brockers and Montgomery's performances have been positive, this does not necessarily mean that have passed up Clement and Edwards on the depth chart.

According to tb.com's depth chart, the two second DEs are Aghayere behind Levingston and Edwards behind Alem.

Yes, but I heard a quote from either Miles or Chavis at media day I think that Edwards is the #3 DE. Plus, in the practice videos, he looks more explosive than Chancey.

And then after today, Brockers is raved on by Miles and he says that he will be on the field as a frosh. Monty also had some good things said about him. So reading btw the lines, my guess would be Brockers is our #4 DE right now.

Edwards???? Which Edwards is playing DE?? We have a Edwards at TE and an Edwards at DT. That's it.

I'm pretty sure Lavar Edwards is playing DE currently.

I missed that one.

I agree that would be the implication. But again, just because we're hearing about Brockers and Montgomery doesn't necessarily mean Ahayere and Clement have been passed. It does seem this would be the case, though, if you read between the lines.

I had to watch the media day press conferences to see it, so you're not alone.

Edwards looks like a talent from what I've seen in the videos though. I have never been as high on Chancey as everyone else.
