Doesn't mean anything if you have issues with accuracy and decision making. Hey that sounds just like J.J.
So he can't improve from when he was in HS? Just because JJ never improved, why do you just assume Randall won't improve?

Accuracy and decision making do not always go hand in hand.
Murray and Bray both have big arms, but they make good decisions and are confident in those decisions. However, both are off on accuracy.

Man, those things sometimes are so inaccurate. It had Lee as a better decision maker than Luck coming out.
If a guy plays at a small school or if he is the only playmaker on the team and takes chances to push it, then he is labeled as "needs improvement on decision making"

Yeah, and where are you getting this from? You think that every black QB is a JJ clone?
Really, some of you need to just quit posting all together.
BTW quit trying to make this some kind of racial issue. Has nothing to do about the color of his skin. It's about what Scout report says about his skills and strengths and weaknesses. Answering OP question.
Even though he came before J.J., Herb Tyler is no where close to a J.J. clone. Probably one of the better QBs that LSU has had over the years.

But then again that is not saying much.
Look at which schools showed no interest..... that is interesting

Why are you assuming that I think he won't improve, where did I ever say this.
BTW: I think he's probably a pretty good QB for us to have and could take over because of his eligibility. Fact is right now he is 3rd in line for the starting position with no game time experience. If he starts any games this next season, it will be in an emergency situation unless we are beating the crap out of someone.

I'm 100% positive he will see the field before Rivers next year.

Did you not say that he sounded like another JJ?
Posted on 1/18/12 at 11:20 am to GeauxMez
How can you say that he is third on the chart?

frick HS scouting reports. You think any elite HS QB is actually making decisions out there? Hell no
Posted on 1/18/12 at 11:23 am to PortCityTiger24
We all waited for the glorious moment when JJ would play his last snap...
Now you tards are already trying to recreate him? After 9 days?
Randall is 3rd string. Deal with it.

Exactly. All you should look at when evaluating a HS QB is whether or not they have the arm, accuracy, and composure to mold into your offense.
Those elite QB are just doing it on talent. That's why college coaches get the big bucks to coach them up.
BOTTOM LINE IS THIS: you never know what you have in a QB or OL until they get popped by a good college defender.

Politics play a big part of that decision and Philip Rivers son will probably get that nod.
I actually will not mind seeing Randal come into a game before Rivers but that is not a 100% guarantee.
You people are assuming a lot if you think I don't like the kid. I want whoever is playing to succeed, hell I wanted J.J. to be successful especially in the BCS game but that did not happen.
Just stating what Scout.com has on their site. I don't know anything about the kid other than what the internet says or other college scout says. Truth is no one will know unless he gets some game time during one of the cream puffs in the beginning of the season.
