For any of you who missed this gem that unfortunately got anchored so it couldn’t be properly bumped this morning, here’s a thread from before the game that deserves a good dragging.

“I love lsu, but unless the coaches change the defense for the better and like now, we are going to get shite on by RogersIII. Dont fool yourself. The lsu defense looked terrible the last 2 weeks. State is gonna be ready in their home field. I picked lsu on pickem but i don’t think we win unless we score 50 plus.”

“ you havent watched our defense. Our dbs are still at the houston burn medical center and our front 7 all have shiny brand new skates it seemed the last 2 games and u say we dont need to score 50? Moo state is gonna hurt lsu and pretty much the sec west will do the same to us. I expected better on defense this year. Big let down.

Lsu pretty much needs a whole new defense with new players except for mingo and perkins...the other 9 are very weak.

Gsu put up 200 yards of offense in a quarter and a half....Rogers will put up 450 minimum against our scrubs.”

“ I never said they were a passing or running team. It wont matter. Obviously you have no clue on proper evaluation on the lsu defense like many of you have obviously overlooked. Our D is "terrible". If something doesnt change fast, lsu has losing record this year.”

And let’s not forget:

“I hope lsu wins because if they dont im gonna come back and drag my balls all over these downvoters lol”

You can keep your drawers on this morning.

What do you have to say for the defense being in trouble against State now? Does Rogers still scare you?

Right here.

Not contrarian, but I think Arkansas will be enough of a litmus test.

FSU we weren’t ready for
Gram bling was a good scrimmage
MSU dominance I am happy but that team looked lower tier.

Arkansas will tell us what we need to know.

Left wondering why we didn’t have a mock game prior to FSU, when we should have learned this lesson last season.

Arkansas will be a test, but the defense is set up well for a good game against them. It’s at home, which helps a lot. While Jefferson shows flashes of greatness, like Anthony Richardson last year, he’s just as likely to give you the game with stupid mistakes, just like he did last night. His turnovers took BYU from down 10 and Arkansas driving to up 7.

Arkansas’ OL is also struggling right now. They had some guys out on the OL vs BYU and it showed. If we can shut down the run and keep Jefferson from taking over with his legs, it will be a difficult game for them.

The other key is our OL. Arkansas put a ton of pressure on Daniels last year and rattled him. That can’t happen in this game. We need to keep him in this groove, because he was dominant yesterday.

The administration tried. You can’t just do that because you feel like it. You have to either play Hawaii (which FSU’s opponent last year did), or you have to leave the country for a game (ND playing in Ireland). They will occasionally make exceptions for FCS games, but they wouldn’t with Grambling. We asked.

I have to be honest, I missed this little detail the first time around. Is this you admitting that Contrary really is an alter?

I'm pretty sure FSU's Week Zero game last year was Duquesne not Hawaii.

Ok. This was aimed at a particular poster with the screen name “Contrary” who went on a little tirade before the game. The quotes in the OP are his from that thread.

He talked a lot of shite about being called an alter, so I thought maybe you were him and just slipped up switching accounts for a minute.

The rule is, opponents of Hawaii get an extra bye week and can play in Week 0. It’s because they are traveling outside of the Continental US. That was Vandy this season, but they actually played Hawaii in week 0 instead of another team.

If you beat FSU, and we could have, we would be sitting at #3 right now.

It’s almost like none of you watched last year. JD had 2 or 3 gems. Then he had the same amount of dog shite games. He’s already done that this year.

Some of you just can’t help it.

What in the hell does that have to do with Rogers from State being a shadow of himself in their new offense and our defense having problems shutting their offense down? Thats what the whole stupid original thread was about. That’s what my comment you quoted was about.

I’m well aware of Daniels’ inconsistency, but why are you bringing it up here? Some of you are really fricking obsessed with our QBs.

Since you brought him up- Daniels wasn’t dogshit vs FSU. He was actually pretty good in the first half, but he did go into his little shell after the drops and the pick. That wasn’t good. Grambling was a scrimmage. As for yesterday, State is a bad team, but he has never looked that good before. Based on his start to the season, Daniels looks improved over last year to me. He’s shown a higher ceiling. But he still has to be more consistent.

I stand corrected! Moo State was so bad they could have lost to a good high school team!

I must admit you enjoy making a personal thread about me or anyone. I hope it made you feel like you have a sense of purpose in life. Congrats!

LSU D is Still terrible. MSU was that bad if you watched closely. 1 plus was JD completing so many passes in a row. Thats all i got. Congrats on your tigerdroppings "i told ya so" moment! On a Sunday. Your lonely i know. The hug is still right here if you need one.

I would have preferred a simple bump, but unfortunately your stupidity in the original thread was such that it got anchored. But if you talk that much stupid shite, you deserve to get drug for it.

I’ll give you credit for showing your face, but your analysis of this team is still shite. They did EXACTLY what I predicted. They improved along the same trajectory as last season. Even better if you consider it was a road game and that they dominated from the start, instead of taking over in the second half.

The defense still has flaws, but with Harris starting at CB and Perkins back at Sam and occasionally playing Jack, they are much improved. Weeks at MLB was also a big improvement. How else don’t explain losing two starters for the week and getting a better performance on the road? The young talent is showing up and taking over starting jobs. And you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

But that’s just it… IF we do something similar to Arkansas it will be they were not good enough and the true litmus is Ole Piss. The truth is many of you spent too much time playing NCAA football 14 and think those stats are real.

LSU looked dominant yesterday, enjoy it.
