When was the last time Saints season ended before LSU's?

Depends on what you define "over". Isn't the Saints season historically over by mid October?

Well, most any year the saints didn't make the playoffs and LSU went to a bowl.

Most years the NCG was the monday following the WC game.

I have no interest in looking up those details but go ahead

In the current format, I do not believe that is true, which is why I'm asking. Add to that the Saints making playoffs fairly regularly, and LSU going to some earlier bowl games in the Miles era, it's not that easy. I spend a few secs looking it up, and if it's not the 2014 Music City Bowl, it might be the 2012 Peach Bowl, when LSU last played Clemson.
