no clue who backs up hickey at the pernt next yr.
stringer can buy a handful of minutes or so but you won't get what you're looking for. same with isaac. no clue. morgan is a shooter. maybe trent will reel someone in late.

He's got to. What if Hickey gets hurt? Stringer has proven he can't handle the hedge on ball screens and that's Trent's main man offense. Gotta get someone else.

Here's my perspective on the play- I can almost understand if it was a heat of the moment play. This wasn't. From where I was sitting, I had an excellent view of the play. I could see MW think for a second and decide to throw Davis down. It wasn't a reaction, it was a deliberate action. That's where I have the problem. He wasn't trying to prevent the basket, he intended to injure Davis, and that is not acceptable. I would be happy do Trent to sit him for a few games.
On a related note, I have nothing but respect for Davis after yesterday. We played hard and physical against him and he took it in stride. He got back up off the floor each time, and returned to play. He never got rattled or lost his composure. He is level-headed and tough on the court, and just takes care of business.
