2009 was certainly disappointing, but I don't think it was a disaster. 8-5 or 9-4 next year may qualify however.

It isn't a disaster...but we are trending towards mediocrity with Les. And like many others are saying- it's the way we won the games that we did win. Not true LSU Tiger domination in any games really. Even the in-state schools aren't intimidated by Death Valley and the warriors who prowl within.

I'm glad to be 9-4. When the 7th to last offense in the nation gets 9 wins and plays in the sec, well I think chavis deserves a hand.

Why in the frick didn't Saban the all god to football do better at LSU in 5 years?
better than what? Les? If you can't see that the program was in much different shape in 2005 than it was in 2000, I can't help you.

8-8 record in the sec in the last 2 years for LSU is not a disaster, but it isn't good either. Its average at best.
LSU fans deserve "more" not "LES"

This was a stupid question. Did you see any games this season?
Posted on 1/10/10 at 10:09 pm to Ace Midnight
Uh, when we're spending $3M to $4M on the head coach, and that doesn't include the staff salaries. If we dropped Miles to about $300k, I seriously could support his continued employment. Crowton? That SOB would have to PAY to coach.

When we have 9-4 seasons in the mega-tough, ultra-competitive, best-conference-in-the-nation B12, it's a disaster, & we must go get a better coach immediately
we beat a very doog Arizona State Team and was cheated out of a win against Texas. So we don't need a new coach. we are ACTUALLY improving year to year.

Why do I keep reading these post about how great 9-4 is? If you watched any of the games this year you would know what is wrong with this 9-4 team.
When you have top 10 recruiting classes you should be a top 10 team.
