What’s your opinion on Brossette as as starter?

I don’t wanna be to negative just yet cause we haven’t even gotten to camp yet but I’ve not been too impressed with him in the little amount of time I’ve seen him on the field. Some guys just have the “it” factor and I don’t at all get that vibe from him. I think he will be our 3rd back when it’s all said and done mid season. Hope I’m wrong cause he is a senior and hope he goes out with a bang.

Being behind Fournette and Guice, along with injuries.. we haven’t really “seen” him have a legit shot
With all the praise CEH and mini Lynch have gotten, he needs to prove himself quickly or he will fall on the depth chart

He’s the starter by default because of his seniority. CEH is more talented and I wouldn’t be shocked to see Curry contribute at some point this season. If Brosette can actually hang onto the goddamn football I think he could be a pretty good starter

I highly doubt he will be starting at all this year. He’ll get more touches than years past because we don’t have a clear starter and will use the full committee. I’m rooting for the kid because he’s done everything right on and off the field and worked his tail off. No LSU fan should want anything but good for this kid.

Fournette and Guice wasn't the bar he had to clear, it was Darrel Williams, who was fairly average until last season. Brosette has done nothing so far to show he's starter quality.

I agree he just doesn’t seem to be a top quality back. Nothing seems to stand out with him

Brossette gets one carry and it results in a fumble. I think people are being a little too harsh on the kid. It’s just like anything in life, people make mistakes. Sports are filled with failure. Hitters come up and strikeout in big situations. Shooters can miss shots in the clutch. We are still talking about Louisiana’s All-Time leading rusher, let’s give him a chance to prove himself this season.

Crazy cause I remember it like yesterday he was pretty highly touted kid out of high school and thought he was gonna choose Texas over us and was ready to be pissed.

My opinon on Brosette is negative. Give the carries to others.
