His best throw wasn't even on there bc Byrd dropped it. It was a 25 yard or so deep post I think in the 3rd quarter that was an awesome throw.
reminded me of CMitchell/JL bama game.

For many on here, its taken for granted that JJ will play all yr the way he did first half of the two starts he had last season.
Hypothetically speaking lets assume that he struggles... How quick will coaches be to turn it back over to JL......
couple qrtrs, series or two.. bad game, 2 bad games?
IDK ill let you know in like 80 days if there is even any need to answer the question? And if said situation happens ill let you know.

Matt Mauck threw 5 interceptions in the Spring Game of his Senior Year.
That is Code for........You Don't know shite
Senior vs Soph, BIG DIFFERENCE! And Mauck threw them against one of the best seasoned defenses in the country. And Jarett Lee did this against our second team defense and that slighty concerns me about how he is going to rebound. Im just not seeing improvement in Lee. Im not saying he wont, but as of right now it is clear that JJ is the better QB. Disagree with me if you want saying Lee is gonna be the next Stafford but right now he isnt, plain and simple.

Bt JL isn't going to play let it go! JJ is going to do well.
are you his JL's dad?

I think youll see both qbs play. (JJ/JL)
IF they both struggle, then you will see RS.
IF they both struggle, then you will see RS.

JL will not get on the feild he was 4th string in spring.

IMHO JJ wouldnt have fared any better than JL did last season if the roles would have been reversed and it was he and hatch that split time early.
You said it, your opinion. Many disagree. I don't believe that kind of speculation is worthwhile, and it certainly leads to more Lee bashing. IMO, you guys that are unapologetic Lee apologisits, just add fuel to the fire on Lee bashing. Why say that J.J. would have done worse? Your point?

Why do you think Lee should start over Jefferson?

the guy is a winner..you could see that in the peach bowl. they know what he can do. he got the confidence thats the big part of the game
he is only a couple pic sixes away from all of you turning on him like you guys have done JL...

Why do you think Lee should start over Jefferson?
Because he was unfairly maligned as a freshman QB at LSU, and LSU fans don't know as much as the coaches. Don't you pay attention? But, when the coaches finally come around to start a true freshman, despite high hopes for Lee, as the redshirt with more experience, all of a sudden, the coaches don't know squat. In other words, I want Lee to play, no matter what, and I'll argue til I'm blue in the face to defend an indefensible position. And, I'll call everyone who disagrees a moron. It makes me feel good to defend a QB who was criticized, especially when I thought he would be great... and I was wrong.
Then, I will postulate that J.J. would have done equally as bad if he would have been the QB under the same circumstances as Lee.
Any questions?

Then explain the spring game? Both were under the same circumstances going against the same defense, and Jefferson still looked better. Lee had his flashes in the spring game as he did during the season, but there were still risky ill advised throws and many late throws.

Im assuming you are answering for me....if so
you and gotygers should kick it.
How does me asking a legit question about, GOD FORBID JJ not being the superman that some of you have already labeled him to be equate to me wanting JL to start?

yeah, to think a guy of JL's age, experince level couldnt, cant or wont improve is just unfuking thinkable.

yeah your right, Im really stretching it in "postulating" that a fresh qb would more than likely done about the same as a redshirt fresh..
You guys are awesome.

Depends what weaknesses the SEC defenses can expose. JJ is still very green, but if Crowton can maximize all of our offensive weapons, JJ could have a great season.
