I agree 3 million is insane for a coordinator but it was going to come down to this some day. And you dont want aranda on the other side coaching

Agreed. There are DCs out their that you can replace Aranda with for $1.8 million. If FSU is looking at Corey Raymond for DC, just promote him. He is the one guy on the staff that deserves it.

But you guys get pissy because Fking supposedly killed a deal with Jimbo that not one person has even been able to say was even on the table. If there was, I have to assume they were asking for what tamu is paying. Possibly even more because of sate income taxes. But now we are all supposed to be shocked at wanting to pay a DC chump change compared to what they would have had to shell out for Miles and Jimbo? All you people do is contradict.

For the record, I wasn't necessarily a Fisher proponent, or a proponent of paying him 8 mil or whatever he asked for.

What I was a proponent of was a legitimate search for a highly qualified head coach, even if it was an up and comer that had not already won a NC, but could be the next 'big thing'.

This is the shite you open yourself up to when you hire a shrimp boat captain as a head football coach.

$3M is worth it to A&M to cripple our program. They haven't beat us since they entered the SEC.

Do you think for a minute LSU wouldn't pay $3M for an Alabama coordinator if they thought it would do the same.

What's insane is setting up the situation where all a rival has to do is poach a coordinator to cripple your program.

You can slice it any way you want, but A&M is saying that they think he’s worth that much money. If we don’t think he’s worth more than a glorified DLine coach then we have more issues than just that.

Exactly. O is still waaaaaaaaaaaaay more overpaid than Aranda would be if he takes this offer.

This is College football that eventually will over price itself thanks to the exorbitant salaries started by universities like Bama and A&M to win at all costs. There should be a cap on these salaries to make things equal like the NCAA has been saying they want for years. Otherwise its a bidding war that is out of hand.

I will LMFAO when Jimbo & Co fail miserably at A&M and they're paying out their asses for years to come.
