I think most of the issues and complaints now are "what have you done for me lately".

It's kind of like stocks, when you're hot and showing promise everyone loves you and wants you. When things start to decline you have the right to eithor ride it out and take the chance and maybe it comes back up some time down the line.

Or you have the right to sell immediately because history also backs you because there have been many cases where people have stuck it out only to have stayed invested way too long and lost greatly.

I have read every post on this topic and both side have made some very good points.

I have to admit that I myself after both losses and even some close wins was the first to vent and rant about miles and coaching. It's my right. Everyone has the right to voice there opinion and just because it's not what you would do doesn't make it wrong because that could go eithor way. Is it wrong to dislike some of your cosches to decisions or actions? No, everybody ain't going to like everything a coach does and it rubs some people differtly than others.

But, I want to see how we finish this year and next year when we have an experienced QB and a very talented team and have more depth at almost every position.

the problem is you only think this applies to LSU.

did florida look great against arkansas? did bama look great against tenn?

shite happens. get over it.

His "Signature Win" this year so far, was to END the 22 year losing drought at then #18 Georgia. Of course you don't fully comprehend this, being that you were born in 1987.

Cool, a cheapshot at my age, that's original. First of all, saying "then #18 Georgia" means nothing. Georgia's having a very off year, everyone knows that. You sound like the Pac-10 commentators who say "it doesn't matter what they are at the end of the season, USC beat the number one team in Ohio State." We started out 2008 ranked 7, I don't think I need to remind you how we ended up. And I may have been born in '87, but I'm apparently having a much easier time understanding the 22 year losing drought than you are understanding that the Georgia win this year is nothing to brag about.

Then you see something only the stupid are looking at. Everyone else sees a team with the same kind of mistakes made by every team in college football. Don't think so? Watch other games and don't lie to yourself.

Speaking of W/L records, Miles had the first losing record for LSU in the SEC since Dinardo last year.

And I have jock itch. So what. LSU still finished the season with a winning record and a bowl win. Everything else is bullshite.

That season felt eerily similar to Brady's season after the Final 4 appearance and we know how that worked out.

A bullshite comparison. You can't compare football to basketball. It's not even close.

So I can see why one with a brain, but lacks eyesight would be pleased as punch with the direction Miles is taking the program

Anyone not pleased is impossible to please. And stupid to boot.

So you would take a 3-5 SEC campaign every year as long as we finished above .500 and won a bowl? That has to be the most inane comment I have read on the Rant. I certainly hope your mindset and definition of success is not prevalent in the TAF.

No, sonnyboy, that is NOT what I said. I said THAT year we finished with 8 wins and a bowl victory and that everything else was bullshite. I would not be happy if that was the case every year and it has NOT been. Look, sonnyboy, either present some kind of RATIONAL position backed up by FACTS and not what ifs and bullshite supposition or just STFU. You have become an embarrasment to your family.

Your right. This mindless babbling about needing a new coach IS terrible, sonnyboy.

3-5 in the SEC in 2008 - I believe Ohio State over 40 years ago was the last time a team coming off of a championship had a losing conference record the following year.

0-4 to Alabama and Florida in 2008 and 2009

103 out of 120 in total offense in 2009 - Miles' specialty

Poor clock management - if you have been watching games since Miles arrived, you will not argue this one

Poor execution on offense - motion and procedure penalties, players getting in late, lining up wrong, etc.. - once again, Miles' specialty and if you have been watching games since his arrival, you have noticed this.

Its funny how I have remained civil, while you continue to be hostile. Are you related to Les in anyway? Did he once say hello to you and sign your cap and now you and Les are best buds? Maybe its the thin Wyoming air or could it be that I did in fact make my point and you don't like it?

Once again, if a winning record and a bowl game is all that it takes to make you happy, then Miles is your man.

I think a lot of us are settlers and are secure with having a winning record and a bowl win but I'm not satisfied with just that and nobody should be. That's for other schools like Memphis and Vandy, not LSU. We are way too talented and very well could be the most talented team to be happy with just getting by.

It's eithor SECCG, NC, or bust becasue I'm not settling for less but I'll continue to root for the players because it's not squarely on all of them.

I say one more year and if it doesn't look promising then I say it's time to move on because maybe the league has definitely got his number.
